OK I picked #2 I adore every single song on ESCAPE & most of FRONTIERS & the live shows were awesome. Steve did some of his best work on TRIAL BY FIRE ~ it should have it's own category but I ran out of slots LOL. Then again: The first 3 albums introduced me to Steve & his amazing voice with Wheel In the Sky, Lights & Winds of March & include 2 of my faves Anyway You Want It, Stay Awhile.

I LOVE ALL eras Of My Man Stevie!! I LOVE THIS MAN!!

Of course I'm not finished! Steve broke amazing new ground with STREET TALK...so many great songs/arrangements/vocals & the extra tracks version is hard to beat. Again, I love almost every song. Running Alone is like nothing else he'd done & the line "The trick of the dreamer is keeping yourself From the blues" is reflected in most of these songs. Steve keeps the old Journey sound on Oh Sherrie & Foolish Heart and you can hear him evolving in Captured By The Moment & Strung Out. Maybe this is my

con't..2nd fave partly cause it's such a personal statement by Steve. TRIAL BY FIRE is I think Journey's most underrated album with tracks that are brilliant in very different ways from their earlier work liked Colors of the Spirit & Trial By Fire & others that are just GREAT like When You Love A Woman & If He Should Break Your Heart, 4 more of my faves.

There are no bad tracks & plenty of gems on FTLOSM. Steve's voice still soars & dips brilliantly & passionately & his emotional range has become even more multi-faceted and movng as have the songs themselves: tributes to young love, inner strength, long journeys, forgiveness & of course Steve's trademark, lost love. Standouts for me are You Better Wait for its energy, For the Love of Strange Medicine for lyrics that reveal additional meanings with each listen, Missing You for its sweetness-with-

I keep running out of space LOL! Con't ...sweetness-with-an-edge. And my back-to-back favorites, Somewhere There's Hope and Anyway two of the most soul-baring, heartrending songs I've ever heard. Oh this is impossible I love them all!

Yeah me too... music... interviews... looks (except that ill conceived mustache LOL) Steve has such great hair he can pull off any style but I do have a special place in my heart for those superlong shamanic-looking locks during FTLOSM.

You girls know me...It's ROR Era all the way with the Escape Era right behind. Love all of the songs from that time including stuff from Frontiers. But I have to say the ROR is my favorite! Hugs Girls!

I also first heard Steve when Infinity was released but as good as he and the band and the songs were then, "Escape" really blew me away, and still does.
