Changing gears today. Watching a little toddler (along with my own kids) while our contractor friend helps hubby with projects on the house. I think I'll try to fill out some job app's for hubby while they are working. It's tough for me to not work on the house and just watch the little ones. Oh well, free labor - well I baked him a strawberry swirl cheesecake - that's payment right? Have a good day all!

I want to share this with you all, NOT to complain but so that it doesn't happen to you. As I shared my husband hurt his back, they gave him 2 meds for it, one they had in stock and was filled, the other was transferred to another store to pick up. When they were giving him the medicine for pick up he asked a question about it, that is when red flags went flying.The medicine they gave him was to treat something he had not gone in for. We took the medicine home in the end but he did not take it. Thank God or he

I spoke with his dr this morning, the prescription that was given to our normal pharmacy was INCORRECTLY taken down and then transferred to the other store. Thankfully we both asked questions about it. There are some heated calls going on at the moment and I'm not sure how this will end. Please don't hesitate to ask questions about any meds you pick up. This mistake would have ended horribly had we not paid attention.

Received an update from the dr office and this just got uglier and is going to take some time to sort out. Sorry, I'll get off the soap box now. Sometimes we get into such a routine that we forget to check simple things and I'd hate for this to happen to any of you. hugs all.

Justin, the Dr in this case was correct and I have since found out that the original script WAS correct. Somehow when they "checked" to see if it was in stock the "wrong" medicine name was used. One dose of this would have killed my husband. The investigation into exactly what happened and how it will get taken care of is ongoing. The correct script has been filled and given to us free of charge.

Hello cake lovelies!!! OMG!!! There is sunshine outside!!! REALLY!!!! It is getting into the 50's today and then the mid sixties over the weekend. Well, great start to a Friday....not! Oldest son was up at 2 and again at breakfast with a sour stomach. Needless to say I'm not looking forward to this day! Husband is home with a bad back too. I am SO going for a walk this morning! :) Hope you all have a wonderful Friday!

I think I'd rather be sick then have a head cold! Hope it passes quickly for you Mrs. V! Managed to get Jayden a dr appt, since he can't keep even water down at the moment. They said they have already had to send 4 kids to the ER over this latest virus. Husband is now knocked out from his pain meds. In-laws are doing dishes! Love that!

Aparantly there are some very difficult technical issues to be dealt with; Katharine is quite upset about it all. Hopefully it will get sorted for her soon. I NEVER log out of here; I haven't done for over a year because I know I will have trouble getting back in other wise.

Your version of this show seems absolutely wonderful, funny, yet serious and would be a delight to watch!!! The American version, though it now has an official title, judges and host (no contestants made public yet), seems to be having a hard time getting off the ground.

I feel the US version will be mostly drama with just a little bit of baking thrown in (really nothing to do with what the show is suppose to be about) to see if they can draw in a new TV crowd. I see in the GABO promo's that it is staying true to what the show is suppose to be (what I believe the show is based on) with just a hint of drama. A huge difference. I may be completely wrong, but that is my gut feeling.
