Hello all! Kids got their passports in the mail today--I was shocked!! The Department of State's website said it was taking 4-6 weeks to process them. We got them in about 2 & 1/2 weeks. I do believe that is the fastest I have ever witnessed the U.S. government move! Happy Friday!

Hi Wendy! What is the price of passports like over there? They have shot up in price here, but as long as it gets me out of this country, I'm not really bothered! Lol. Hope you're feeling better?

Hi Wendy, it took us about that long for our passports last year. Nicholas took a week extra because he had the extra paperwork (citizenship, american birthcertificate/adoption) and he had to submit his baby Yugo passport. We kept teasing him about it. Glad everything worked out. Where are you going?

I honestly couldn't believe how fast they came! Thanks for the nice thoughts too--would you believe I STILL have pneumonia in my lungs??? I am still not feeling well, but I'm sick of going to the dr. and ER. I think I may need to make an appt. with a pulmonologist next week. The wheezing & lack of energy are both awful! //Katharine, we're taking the boys on a Disney cruise. They are SOOOOO excited!!

Justin, kids passports are around $80 for five years. Adults are about $110 I think for 10 years. Plus an additional fee ($25?) to process each one.

Have spent an annoying morning scrubbing out the bathroom an throwing things away. SO where is the technology when we need it, ipads and smart phones and all that stuff grows by leaps and bounds, yet no one is addressing cleaning house and how to make it easier and preferably happening while we are busy elsewhere! It seems women are still in chains!!

Justin I just get in the jacuzzi and and clean it. I put epsom salts in the bottom and put hottish water in there and then give my feet a bit of soak while I am scrubbing the rest of it.

I am a seriously lucky woman, since i got sick jim does all of his own laundry and he has gotten pretty good at it! I can do most of my cleaning but cleaning showers??? I could only clean 1/2 way up lol no legs in the shower! i have a cleaning lady that comes once a month to get the up high things i cant reach and the deep cleaning things i can't do. I amy lucky!!

Morning cake lovlies! Starting off the week feeling pretty good. The Cowboys won (finally)....and this week I hopefully will get the job at the bakery. (Good news...I already told her my age and that I couldn't hold up to coming in every day and standing on my feet for eight hours and that I would love to contract out the specialty cakes and she was agreeable to that. so keep your fingers crossed!!!)

Thanks everyone. Sally, no pan, just a knife. Seems I may have gotten feedback of a sort. I had a request for a sweet 16 cake and she said she had one of my cakes over the weekend. Well that was the only one I did so I guess it must be it. Unfortunately I am booked already on the weekend she wants it :(

I had 3 consective outconus tours, Midenhall UK (2 yrs), Hawaii (3yrs), I know HI is part of the US, it was not like being in the US and Menwith Hill UK (3yrs). I also had a 2 year tour in Germany.

What a great design, tee shirts would be great, but I was wondering if it would not be better with the safety vest so that they could be shared with the rotating crew that helps with the supervision. And they could be saved for future shows.

OH YEA WHO YEA WHO YEA WHO!!! I just got off the phone with the girl from the big bakery in Danville. She has been having issues with her email. She was able to pull up my email and was thrilled with the pictures. She wants to talk to me next week!!!!!!! WHEW!!!
