For me, Pimp and the Priest and The Inquiry of Ms. Terri made me think "hmm... these guys might have something". Then Red Hands turned me into a full blown obsessive fan.

It really is getting hard to think of new questions! Anyway, for me it was Church and the Dime that really piqued my interest, and Red Hands sealed the deal.

I'm always curious about this one 'cause it helps me figure out what's best to use to convert new fans...

I never know what song to first play for someone when I want them to listen to TDH...but according to this post and some of the previous ones, Red Hands seems to be the favorite.

I find that I've had the most success with Red Hands and What It Means To Be Alone. Lately though I've been using the Brooklyn live video for "We've Got A Score To Settle" (The one that's been posted here about 900 times so far).

My first introduction my bf played all of Act II for me. I think if your going to get someone to really love the band you must give them an entire album and Act II is the way to go.

I was a big fan of The Receiving End of Sirens, so I've basically been following TDH from the beginning.

I was introduced by a friend. First song I heard was Church and the Dime -- I've been hooked ever since.

Picked up Acts I & II in mid '07 after a bunch of people on a message board I went to kept talking about how great they were.

I had first heard of them in 09 I think but didn't really start listening to them until after I saw them tour with Coheed. I caught 4 shows on that tour and loved TDH more and more each time.

The article that announced the headlining tour had a quote from TDH about how they were "considering" performing TCS front-to-back. It's a shame they apparently ended up rejecting the idea -- would've been a crazy show.

Maybe after all 6 Acts are done they'll do a "Neverender" sorta deal? That would be amazing.

If they did the full TCS that'd be insane... They should do a festival, after all 6 acts are released, Play all 6 acts with TCS, as a festival, and have other bands play between haha. Obviously a few day fest.

II for sure. It's my second favorite album from the last ten years, and probably in my top 20 of all time.

I'd have to say II, for personal reasons. I started listening to it about the time I broke up with my first gf, so you can see where this is going...

I would say they all have their special qualities, but I have to give it to Act I for getting me into TDH and for being all over the place stylistically, and short. Act II is just too damned long.

Well, I've managed to find the ins and outs of the system pretty well by now. There's a limit to the amount of posts and thumbs up you get points for (not sure what the limit is; I just know that after a while you stop getting points each day). It's a bit wonky in that sometimes the limit will be as small as one, and other times you can get a bunch in before it stops. Missions are (were) a big point-booster, but they're not in effect at the moment, so can't help you there. FB referrals, if you c

It's really just a combination of participating in other discussions, and starting your own. I'd like to say there's some 'trick' to it, but there's really not... I just try to contribute, and it lends itself to getting points. I like shooting the shit with you guys! But yeah, just keep commenting, watching videos, thumbing-up posts... it adds up before too long. And work through the glitches -- you have to have a great deal of patience to do well here, haha.

Oh, one more thing -- a lot of the time, you get points for something but it doesn't show up on the tally up top. It's supposed to update live, and it does most of the time, but occasionally it'll glitch and it won't show you getting points, even though the score is kept updated on the overall leaderboard. So, don't fret -- if you're doing something that should give you points, you're getting them. (enjoy the 45 points, by the way!)

I pretty much already referred everybody who I thought would be interested BEFORE the points started counting :/

I've used those as excuse to play it for new people. So far it's worked well.
