Hello Everyone, I just wasted a day sorta. Dr. appt this morning no big deal, had to stop at McD's for coffee. Once I arrived at cafe, I had time to be productive but hey just worked with sugar jems I made for a cake. It took a few hours to melt a hole. put a nylon thread thur and measure the length. Tomorrow, it is game on. I have another GF cake to have ready by Sat morning. I have another chandiler cake to work on tomorrow. Happy Day

We all have our little foibles Tracci -- I am not pleased with Mr. V he took off with my needle nosed pliers, and I was trying to work without them and there was a cake crisis, broke a dozen hydrangeas that I had to make again. Mr V has promised he will get the pliers back asap -- he had better! LOL.

Good afternoon all! Inspection week is over and I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy! It's been a crazy busy week and the atmosphere in work has been tense! But, my first experience of what's to come every five years or so for the rest of my teaching career has prepared me for the importance of being "inspection ready!" Hope everyone is enjoying their Friday; the weekend has now begun, and it's an extended one here as we have a bank holiday Monday!

I taught for 2 years before I had kids. I know what you mean about being observed by your superiors. Very nerve wracking! I'm sure you did great!

Probably not - at least not what I used to teach (English). A more fun subject and relaxed atmosphere (like teaching ceramics or something) would be more my speed nowadays!

Jayne, thank you for the links! I will check them out Sunday when I log on to my computer! For me to get out there is do difficult! I need a sponsor and I must prove I'm not taking a job from an American! It's unreal! Apparantly it takes about 18 months to get a visa sorted! That's if you're granted one!!! I will work ny butt off though'! I'm not scared of work!

I am prepared to do what it takes to start a massive campaign in order for them to have equal opportunities! Just because someone had such difficulties; it doesn't mean they are incapable!
