Hi Cake Junkies, I just need to vent. I never understand why parents with small children think it is fine to let them out of their seats and run in a restaurant. Today, I had to tell a mom her screaming 2 year old had to stay in her chair, no running here. I really wanted to say, sorry we are not a gym, playground or home. Running children break things, get hurt, make others stumble or even fall and then I can get sued if anyone gets hurt.There are many places parents can take kids to eat and be happy.

BACK!!! What an amazing weekend. The waether was just gorgeous!! Spent time at the beach, did some kayaking, ate too much. Was a good time spend with great friends. Little too much sun too. Now back to work tomorrow :)

Evening all! Just got home from the BSG show in Telford; I must I say I was a little disappointed! Considering this show only happens every four years I was expecting big things! There was very good work there, but it is not like Cake International at the NEC in november, I would much recommend that show! Hope everyone's having a good day!

Making some suet balls with my students today for their PSD lesson; the unit is Community Action, so we plan to make bird feeder logs and reliever to local houses. Good Morning Cake Junkies, a few things on the docket this week. My couple for the weekend came in on Sat to let me know they changed the colors for their reception to purple verses teal. I was polite and told them they ordered teals for sugar flowers and they will get teal. They were okay with it, but I could not have that so I whipped up a few light purple cala lillies to to with the teal. Today, I will make a few other flowers. Thank god it's Monday! Phew! Got through the weekend. Hubby had his hernia (around his belly button) surgery last week. I took care of him over the weekend and he's going back to work today (against my wishes). I think he should've stayed home another day or so, but he thinks he'll be okay. Now to get my house cleaned up and laundry caught up. I'm sooooo behind! And then start on my kids' birthday cakes for their birthday party this weekend. Have a great day all!
